Philip, a New Jersey native, joins us with 28 years of gymnastics experience. He started competing in floor, vault, and high bar at the age of 15. At the age of 17, he started competing nationally for the next 6 years. When he was 18, his passion for the sport led him to start coaching both USAG and eventually JOGA. Having worked at many tri-state area gyms, he has amassed quite a few students and followers, some of whom have gone on to compete in the Olympics for the United States. Coach Phil prides himself on his ability to connect with both his students and their parents. Oftentimes, students will participate in private lessons with him to grow their skill-sets in an one-on-one environment. In his spare time, he can be found DJing as UnclesNephew at various venues throughout NYC, NJ, and PA.
